What is Artificial Contact?
A paid SMS subscription service that lets you text an AI assistant from your normal messaging app. You save the service number as a contact, send it messages, and receive AI-generated replies by SMS.
Is this an app?
No. There is no app to download. Artificial Contact works through SMS, so you use your phone's normal messaging experience.
Is this iMessage?
No. Artificial Contact is SMS only — not iMessage. If you use an iPhone, the conversation appears in Messages as an SMS text thread.
Do I get my own phone number?
You get access to the Artificial Contact SMS number. Save it as any contact name you want and text it to start conversations.
Can I name the contact whatever I want?
Yes. Once you receive the number, save it in your contacts under any name that feels useful to you. The service itself is still AI-generated SMS from Artificial Contact.
What can I text it about?
Brainstorm, ask questions, talk through decisions, draft ideas, vent, plan, or have a casual conversation. AI replies may be inaccurate, so don't rely on it for emergencies or professional medical, legal, financial, or other advice.
Does it remember things?

Artificial Contact is a paid recurring subscription. The current price and billing interval are shown at checkout. You can cancel future renewals through the billing portal.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Cancel through the billing portal anytime. Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the current paid period unless otherwise required by law or stated in the Terms.
How do I stop texts?
Reply STOP at any time to opt out of SMS messages. Reply HELP for help.
Are message and data rates included?
No. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan. Artificial Contact does not control carrier charges.
Is it a human?
No. Replies are generated by AI. The experience is designed to feel conversational, but it is not a human and should not be used as an emergency service or a substitute for professional advice.
Is my phone number shared or sold?
